What is Apex Legends?

Apex Legends is one of our favorite shooters on console and PC, an excellent free-to-play game that breathed new life into the battle royale genre at launch and continues to amaze over the course of several seasons. Impressively reinvent yourself and buy valorant boosting.

Now, it’s coming to mobile–EA has confirmed that the game intends for a wide release, though it’s currently in a limited regions phase. Find out everything you need to know about Apex Legends Mobile right here.

Apex Legends Mobile release date

EA announced the existence of Apex Legends Mobile back in 2021, and it did so in a low-key fashion–just a blog post to confirm that it was in development. However, it contains a lot of key information about when the game will actually be available with apex legends boosting service.

If you search for it on the Google Play Store, you’ll see there’s already a listing, and that’s because the game has been opened for limited testing in a handful of markets. These beta tests will initially be limited to China and the Philippines, allowing players in these regions to try out and provide feedback.

Now, EA has confirmed that the game will launch the week beginning February 28, 2022 in the following regions: Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Nicaea, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia by Immortal Boost.

Apex Legends mobile game

From what we’ve seen, Apex Legends Mobile is largely a pared-down version of the main game–meaning you still get the core of the experience. There’s a roster of heroes to choose from, each with unique powers that transition nicely.

You’ll drop into the map and find loot around to equip yourself, then a circle slowly shrinks to force players into the same area. Any player or team remaining will be crowned champion.

The weapons and characters in Apex Legends Mobile are all from the main game, so if you’ve played that version, you’ll be on your feet, but with one big change–it’s now third-person. You can use the touch controls to control your character more easily while aiming down the weapon sights, and get into first-person. It might be a little different, but it’s standard for many mobile shooters, and will be very familiar to veterans of the wildly popular PUBG mobile version.

Of course, the graphics also took a big hit, and the early version of the game currently being played by testers doesn’t look too incredible. However, with graphics settings ramped up considerably on more powerful phones, it should still feel more vibrant than many dull shooters.

All in all, it looks like an excellent version of the game given the constraints of the platform, and it’s built from the ground up with a simpler control scheme and some streamlined mechanics, which makes sense.

Apex Legends Mobile Stories

Apex Legends tells an evolving story on console and PC, but since this isn’t a direct port of that version, we don’t necessarily expect the mobile version to be closely tied to these.

There’s no information on that yet, but we’re guessing it will have its own battle pass and season system, just like Call of Duty: Mobile has its own ecosystem, separate from the main game.

This might make things easier in the long run, since there are completely separate development teams working on different games. This also means we don’t expect the new Arenas mode to appear in the mobile version anytime soon.
